Local Development Framework (LDF)
We have an established track record promoting land through the Local Development Framework process. We are also pro-active in identifying strategic land opportunities for clients. We will actively source short, medium and long term strategic sites for our clients, advise them on their potential for successful promotion and provide a clear planning strategy to enable the sites delivery over an agreed time scale. Site searches can be tailored to a clients particular brief so please contact us with your specific requirements.
If you have any specific strategic sites which require assessment or would simply like more information about Local Development Frameworks, please contact any of our offices for further advice.
2009 - LDF Update
We have prepared a monitoring guide (see opposite) which provides a list of local planning authorities and the status and progress they have made to date on their own LDF documents. The list is updated as the LDF documents are gradually rolled out over the coming year and we will highlight opportunities for the submission of representations at the relevant public consultation stage.
In all cases, the timely submission of representations to the Core Strategy and subsequent emerging Development Plan Documents will be most important for land owners and developers as these will determine the likely direction and scale of growth in an area and make actual land allocations for housing and employment development. By regularly updating our guide we can advise you on the planning potential of any land opportunities you may have. To register your interest, please complete the appropriate fields in the questionnaire.
